National post in Belgium (for the General Government of Belgium). The area included the Kingdom of Belgium with the exception of a few districts in the southwest, initially also parts of northern France.
Issued 1914. Postcard P2 features a 10Pf, carmine, Germania 'DEUTSCHES REICH' value stamp overprinted "Belgien | 10 Centimes" in Gothic script, and measures 140 x 90mm. This postcard has the same design as P97, with the word "Postkarte" to the right of the vertical dividing line.
