Erich Gutjahr Bildverlag was a publishing company located at Lehrter Strasse 40, Berlin NW 40 and was well-known for producing copious amounts of military related printed matter.

WOMEN WORKING for YOU
This series is also known as 'Women at War' and is one of my favorite series of German postcards, however at around US$70 to US$75 per card, it is outside of my budget. The cards show different scenes of women at work. As the war progressed German men were forced more and more into the military, leaving many vital jobs back home with no workers to fill them. To fill the gap forced labour was increasingly used as was the use of women to perform many jobs that were typically performed by men.
The cards that I have seen are numbered 649 to 668, but there may be more in the series that I am not aware of.
