P179 was a special postcard issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Berlin Post Office C2. The value stamp is an 8Pf Beethoven pre-printed stamp and the inscription reads "Hundertjahrfeier des Briefpostamts | Berlin C2 | 1827 - 1.Dezember - 1927".
The reverse of this card has a multicoloured picture of a postman from 1827.
