MARCOPHIL POSTILLON
SERIES 1
This series of 16 postcards are referred to as the Marcophil Series, and features the uniforms worn by postmen in the various German states. The exact date of publication is unknown, however apart from the more common cards, that do not have pre-printed stamps, there were around 60 complete sets that had pre-printed 3Rpf Hindenburg Medallion stamps. Hence the reason for placing them under 1933.
Each card has the following text in the top left-hand pane on the address side.
