ASCHERSLEBEN STAMP EXHIBITION

This postcard advertises the Aschersleben Stamp Exhibition held from 19th to 21st Aug 1933. The attractive but simple design features a postman riding a horse at full gallop, whilst blowing his post horn. The inscription reads:

The Aschersleben Bestehornhaus has been the main cultural centre of the City of Aschersleben since its construction in 1908.
There are four versions of this card with a pre-printed stamp as well as one without, the front is the same but the value stamp on the reverse is either a:

(2) 5Pf Hindenburg Medallion
(3) 6Pf Hindenburg Medallion
(4) 15Pf Hindenburg Medallion
(5) No Pre-Printed Stamp
There was also a special postmark used to advertise the event.
