This postcard was issued on 1st Oct 1935 and was valid for use until 30th June 1936. It was designed to commemorate the Harvest Thanksgiving Festival in Bückeberg. The postcard carries a 6Pf + 4Pf indicia stamp which shows the costume of Lower Saxony. The 4Pf surcharge went to the Emergency Service. There was a special cancel associated with this issue inscribed 'Bückeburg | Erntedanktag'.

This example has been cancelled in PLAUEN (VOGTLAND) on 30th Dec 1935. It also carries a popular slogan postmark inscribed "Vergiβ nicht Straβe und Hausnummer anzuggeben" - 'Don't forget to give the street and house number'
