My 42nd GERMAN PHILATELISTS DAY 1936
There are four different sets (each consisting of four cards) of similar design, issued to commemorate the 42nd German Philatelic Day on 6th and 7th Jun 1936. There are four different colours, blue, brown, green and reddish-brown.
The First set consists of 4 cards each with a 5Pf Luftpost pre-printed airmail stamp.
The Second set consists of 4 cards each and is the same as the first set exepet for an additional inscription that reads "3. Philitelistische Ostlandtagung".
The Third set consists of 4 cards each with a two pre-printed stamps.
Finally the Fourth set consists of 4 cards and is indentical to the first set except these cards do not have a pre-printed stamp.

(1) This postcard has an additional 15Pf Luftpost stamp added in order to pay the extra postage for overseas mail. In this case the destination is England. The special cancel used in LAUENSTEIN (OBERER) has also been applied. This was the only special cancel issued in LAUENSTEIN.
(2) This card has been cancelled-to-order with a special COBURG cancellation used at the Bayern-Ostmark Stamp Exhibition held on 6th and 7th Jun 1936.
