This postally used P263 postcard has two special cancels dated 1937 (the year after the card was published) and are not related to the postcard. The first is inscribed "Zeppelin-Spende | Kassel | 22. u. 23. Mai | 1937" and appears to commemorate a voyage of one of the Zeppelin airships to Kassel. The other special cancel is inscribed "KASSEL | 43 Deutscher Philatelistentag" commemorating the 43rd German Philatelists Stamp Exhibition held in Kassel in May 1937. (3)

This postally used P263 postcard has a regular CDS cancel used in Dresden on 29th Oct 1936. In addition to the CDS cancel, there is also a slogan cancel inscribed "Vermeidet | RUNDFUNK= | STÖRUNGEN!" - 'Avoid | BROADCAST = | FAULTS!'
