Issued Jun 1938. K.d.F Strength through Joy conference held in Hamburg. Features an image of a woman waving a handkerchief and saying goodbye to a ship (the Wilhelm Gustloff). The pre-printed stamp is a 5Pf Airmail stamp, Michel 529 . Michel P246 is a regular postcard.
This unused P246 has a favour cancel which was the special cancel used in conjunction with the K.d.F Conference in Hamburg. Like the postcard, the special cancel features the Wilhelm Gustloff and bears the inscription:
"HAMBURG 36 | hamburg 1938 | Reichstagung, Kraft durch Freude".
