STAMP DAY - SCHAUBEK
(9th Jan 1938)
This postcard was published by The Schaubek Stamp Accessories Company. There are two similar versions of the card both with the title "IN ALLEN WELTTEILEN" - "IN ALL PARTS OF THE WORLD", a reference to the fact that the company has sales outlets all over the wotld. The map shows a representation of the earth along with the locations of Schaubek's global sales outlets.
The two designs PP122-B-34 and PP122-C-62 are almost identical except for the additional text "Tag der Briefmarke 1938" printed on the map over Asia on the front of PP122-C-62. In addition PP122-C-62 has two additional lines of text on the reverse.
PP122-C-62 and PP122-B-34 are also known to exist without a pre-printed stamp.

3Rpf HINDENBURG MEDALLION
This appears to be the most common variant of this Schaubek postcard. Unlike PP122-B-34 below, it has an additional text "Tag der Briefmarke 1938" printed over the map representing Asia. There is also an addditional inscription on the bottom left-hand side of the reverse of the card that reads "Sammler Laffen sich vertrauensvoll in allen Fachgefschäften | und vom SCHAUBEK=Verlag C.F. Lücke, Leipzig O 5,beraten." - 'Collectors can be found in all specialist shops | and from SCHAUBEK = Verlag C.F. Lücke, Leipzig O 5, advise.'
