There are three cards issued to commemorate the 600th Anniversary of Schmölln. PP127-C-41/01 features the brewery, PP127-C-41/02 has 4 views of the city of Schmölln and PP127-C-41/03 features the market square and church tower.
Two special cancels were used in Schmölln to commemorate the anniversary. The first inscribed "600 Jahrfeier-Briefmarkenschau" from 9th to 17th Jul 1938, and the second, inscribed "SCHMOLLN (THUR) | Reichsbund d.Philatelisten | Landesverb. Sachsen2. | Briefmarkenschau v. 10.-17.-Juli 1938" from 10th to the 17th Jul 1938.
