'75th Anniv of International Red Cross Society'
Issued 1st Apr 1939 to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Belgian Red Cross. This stamp is perf 11½ and has the same design as Mi 500 but with a different colour/value and features King Leopold III with his three children.
Leopold III also known as Albert I (born Prince Albert Léopold Clément Marie Meinrad of Belgium) 8th Apr 1875 to 17th Feb 1934, was King of the Belgians from 1909 until his death. He was married on 2nd Oct 1900 to Princess Elisabeth Gabriele of Bavaria and they had 3 children.
