"Reclassification after first Vienna Arbitration Award"
Issued: 16th Jan 1939 to comemmorate the 'Reclassification of parts of Slovakia, which are predominantly Hungarian'. The award was primarily as a resulty of the first Vienna Arbitration Award (1938). These stamps are printed photogravure, watermark 9 and perf 12¼:12.
This stamp fetures Palanok Castle or Mukachevo Castle in the city of Mukacheve in the western Ukrainian oblast (province) of Zakarpattia.
