Issued 1943 / 1944 on unwatermarked paper, frames engraved, centres Offset letterpress, printed rotary press and perf 12. Printed by the American Bank Note Company.
This stamp features 'KOREA' invaded by Japan in 1910 and occupied until the end of the war in 1945. This stamp is unique in this series in that it is the only country represented that is not European, is the only country not occupied by German forces and is the only country represented that was occupied by the Japanese, 30 years before the second world war began in Europe.
