This series of 3 postcards was published to commemorate the Leipzig World Exhibition for the Book Trade and Graphics, held on 6th May 1914. The cards all feature a 5Pf Deutsches Reich Germania pre-printed stamp.

There was a special cancel inscribed "LEIPZIG | WELT-AUSSTELLUNG | Für BUCHGEWERBE | UND | GRAPHIK".
