This postcard depicts a head and shoulders side view of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, German writer and statesman. Goethe was born on 28th August 1749 in Frankfurt and he died at the age of 82 in Weimar on 22nd March 1832. The postcard features a dark green 6RPf indicia stamp and was produced on buff card. The reverse side is blank.
