18th July 1939 - This postcard which sold for 20RPf, has a 6RPf indicia stamp and was issued to coincide with the 5th National Congress of the KdF. It shows the German ship 'Robert Ley' at anchor in Lisbon Harbour. A special postmark was also used during the event.
This first example of a P240 postcard has been favour cancelled with the special cancel used to promote the event. The cancel is inscribed "HAMBURG | Reichstagung | der NS-Gemeinschaft "Kraft durch freude" 20.-23.7.39".
