Issued: 18th Mar 1940. Polish stamps with black surcharge overprint from the Vienna Gouvernement Printing Office. Polish stamp featuring Field Marshall Edward Smigty-Rydz and designed by Chrostowsky on sheets (10x10), Perf K12½x12¾. There are two types for Michel 14: Type I has horizontal shading to the left of the Field Marshall's head and shoulder, whilst Type II has a combination of horizontal and diagonal lines to the Field Marshall's left shoulder.
