Issued: 1st Jun 1939. Printed photogravure on watermarked 9 paper and perf 12¼. Size 26 x 33mm. This stamp has a very similar design to the 1943 Michel 718 only now with changed colour, different denomination and background on watermark 10 paper.
This stamp features Debrecen Church. Debrecen is Hungary's second largest city after Budapest. It is the regional center of the Northern Great Plain region and the seat of Hajdú-Bihar county. It was the largest Hungarian city in the 18th century and it is one of the Hungarian people's most important cultural centres. Debrecen was also the capital city of Hungary during the revolution in 1848–1849.
