Stamps used in territories occupied by the British forces in Eritrea, Italian Somaliland, Cyrenaica, Tripolitania and the Dodecanese Islands. These stamps are Great Britain issue stamps overprinted 'M.E.F' an abbreviation of 'Middle East Forces'. SG M7 has a type 'M 2' overprint where the dots between the letters 'M.E.F' are more square shaped and the letters are smooth. This stamp is a regular issue SG 465 British stamp.
