Sent from Kiel on the 20th Apr 1921 this letter was destined for Danzig, the free City now known as Gdansk in modern day Poland. At the time Danzig was a free city, under the terms of the Versaille Treaty at the end of the First World War. This cover features six, 1920 issue, 10Pf Michel 141 Germania stamps, the correct local letter rate.
