Issued 30th May/July 1925 to commemorate the 1000th Anniversary of the Rhineland being part of Germany. Designed by Prof Firle on sheets (10x10), rolls and booklets. Produced on coated paper with upright waffle watermark and Perf 14:14¼. The design shows the Rhineland landscape with a blast furnace and eagle's head, plate and rotary press printing
