Issued 1st Aug 1936 to coincide with the 11th Olympic Games held in Berlin. Unlike the minisheets that were valid for postage, this souvenir sheet is an A4 sized card with the 8 individual stamps already affixed and was intended as a souvenir, not for postal use. The collector would purchase the sheet at the Olympic venue and would then visit the various postal offices on-site and have the stamps cancelled. Some collectors would have all the stamps cancelled at the same booth whilst other collectors visited each postal booth and have them cancelled individually to get a full set.
