Issued on 13th April 1942 to celebrate Hitler's 53rd Birthday. This Perf K 14¼ x 13½ stamp was issued on sheets of 50 stamps on coated paper and was also accompanied by a special postmark, used for one day (20.4.1942) with the inscription "With the Führer to victory". Berlin, Braunau, Munich, Nuremberg, Strassborg and Vienna used this special postmark. The stamp exists in two variations, type 'x' with vertical ribbed gum and type 'y' with horizontal gum rippling.
