MICHEL 890
POSTAL EMPLOYEES FUND
(Kameradschaftsblock der Deutschen Reichspost)
Issued: 3rd May 1944. This is a re-issue of the 1941 Comrades of the German Reichs Post stamps, Mi773 through Mi778, but with different colours and values. These stamps were also designed by von Axster-Heüdtlass and were printed by the Vienna State Printing Works photogravure on coated paper. The sheets of 50 stamps did not have a watermark and were perf K 14 with horizontal ribbed yellow to dark yellow gum.

(3) I don't have a reference that indicates this is a recognised plate flaw but there is a dark spot the the right of the 'O' in 'OSTEN' that is not apparent on other stamps. Further research required.
