(1) This cancel can be found in violet ink in 1899 and 1900. From 1.1.1900 until 11.1.1900, year date changed by hand from '99' to '00'. Year date '00' as 'oo' from end Jan to 21.8.1900. From 1.1.1911 until 27.1.1911 year date '11' handwritten but no commercial covers are known to exist. Date 1.1.oo and many others are backdated favour cancels.
