MOROCCO
POST OFFICES
The first German Post Offices in Morocco were opened on the 20th Dec 1899 in all three zones (French, Spanish and International): Casablanca, Larache, Mazagan, Mogador, Rabat, Saffi and Tanger with the post offices in Alkassar, Arsila, Larasch and Tetuan being the last to close on 11th Jun 1919.
On 4th Nov 1911 the Kingdom of Morocco was divided in to three separate zones: French, Spanish and International. Germany had post offices in all three zones.
In the French zone the post offices were located at Asimmur, Casablanca, Fes, Masagan, Marrakesh, Meknes, Mogador, Rabat and Saffi.
In the Spanish zone the post offcies were located at Alkassar, Arsila, Larasch and Tetuan.
Finally in the International zone the city of Tanger had the only German post office.
The post offices below are listed in alphabetically order rather than by zone.
Please note that all dates for the post offices below are the earliest known used dates and there may be earlier examples that are not universally known.

There were two very similar cancels used in Alkassar from May 1901 until Jun 1919, the main difference being the spelling of the word 'MAROCCO' or 'MAROKKO'.
