75th Anniversary of U.P.U
issued 10th Oct 1949 to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Universal Postal Union. Each stamps was designed by a different designer: SG 499 by Mary Adshead, SG 500 by P. Metcalfe, SG 501 by H. Fleury and SG 502 by G. R. Bellew. All stamps were printed perf 15 x 14 on 'GviR Multiple Watermark' watermark paper.
