Issued 19th Nov 1957: GRAPHITE-LINED ISSUES. These issues were used in conjunction with automatic sorting machines first introduced experimentally in Southampton. The graphite lines were printed in black on the reverse of the stamps beneath the gum and there were two lines per stamp except for the 2d (SG564). Phosphor bands were introduced in November 1959.
