Designed by: Marjorie Saynor. Issued: 16th Feb 1972, Set of 3 Stamps on ordinary paper with two phosphor bands, P14 x 15. There is also a First Day Cover and a Presentation Pack (Pack No. 39). The post office issued two special postmarks to accompany this issue. The first depicts a polar bear and a penguin and has the inscription "FIRST DAY OF ISSUE PHILATELIC BUREAU EDINBURGH - 16 FEB 72". The second special postmark shows a Boy Scouts logo atop a series of circles and triangles radiating from the centre and is inscribed "FIRST DAY OF ISSUE LONDON WC - 16TH FEBRUARY 1972".

The second special postmark shows a similar circular wreath with the inscription "FIRST DAY OF ISSUE LONDON EC - 26.4.72" around the inside of the circle.

The post office issued two special postmarks to accompany this issue. The first depicts a transmission tower with radio signals emitting from the top and has the inscription "FIRST DAY OF ISSUE PHILATELIC BUREAU EDINBURGH - 13 SEP 1972". The second special postmark shows a variation on the tranmission tower theme only this time the radiating signals are lightning shaped rather than circular and is inscribed "FIRST DAY OF ISSUE LONDON W1 - 13 SEPTEMBER 1972".

There is also a First Day Cover and a Presentation Pack (Pack No. 43). The post office issued two special postmarks to accompany this issue. The first depicts a snowflake and has the inscription "FIRST DAY OF ISSUE PHILATELIC BUREAU EDINBURGH - 18 OCT 1972" around the outside. The second special postmark is rectangular in shape and also shows a snowflake. It is inscribed "FIRST DAY OF ISSUE" along the top edge, "DYDD CYHOEDDIAD CYNTAF" along the bottom edge and "BETHLEHEM LLANDEILO CARMS" in a circle with "18 OCT 72" inside it, to the right of the snowflake.

The second special postmark shows a similar swirling line pattern and is inscribed "FIRST DAY OF ISSUE WINDSOR, BERKS - 20 NOV 72".
