Kaumi and Kiautschou were located in the neutral zone and were not part of the leased territory of Kiautschou. However for postal purposes they are considered to be part of the leased area.

The feldpost station cancel No.1 was used as a feldpost cancel during the Boxer Rebellion 1900 to 1901 but also in Kaumi as a provisional cancel from 5th Jul 1901 to 14th Jan 1902 after the rebellion. 'K.D. FELD-POSTSTATION | No 1'
This cancel is a simple circular cancel with day and month but no year.

(1) The simple circular cancel was used from 26th Sep to 31st Dec 1900. The cancel features day and date as well as 'oo' instead of '00' for the year. This was also used as a feldpost cancel during the Boxer Rebellion.
(2) This cancel was also used as a feldpost cancel during the Boxer Rebellion during 1900 to 1901 and as a provisional cancel from 1st Jan 1901 to 31st Dec 1905.

(1) This is a circular private sender cancel and can be found in either black or violet-blue. It is usually found alongside either Litsun or Tsingtau cancels from 10th Jun 1905 until 22nd Jul 1909.
(2) This cancel was used as a receiving cancel in Jan 1912 alongside the Litsun cancel.

There are two variations of this cancel, one with a narrow space between the 0 and 1 of the year (from Jan to Apr 1901) and the other with a wide space between the 0 and 1 of the year (Apr to Jul 1901). This cancel was also used as a feldpost cancel during the Boxer Rebellion 1900 to 1901.

(6) Valid from 5th Jan 1900 until 21st Aug 1914 (no year date during 1901). It is thought that dates after 21st Aug 1914 are purely philatellic creations. Also used as a feldpost cancel during the Boxer Rebellion. Very similar to (8) only with larger 'a' in counter identifier.
(7) Valid from 1st Apr 1901 until Jul 1914. Used at Tsingtau Groβer Hafen from 15th Jan until 20th Feb 1910. Also used as a feldpost cancel during the Boxer Rebellion.
(8) Used on 1st Apr 1901 and valid from 1st Dec 1905 until 3rd Jan 1906. This cancel can also be found on full stamp sheets dated 20th Dec 1904 at ht erequest of the Imperial Post Office. The reason for this request is not known. Very similar to (6) but with smaller 'a' in counter identifier.

(11) The same as (10) above only now with the hour information. Valid from Oct 1907 until 4th Nov 1914. There are examples on cover with cancel date 6th Nov 1914 that did not actually go through the postal system. (12) Valid from 21st Feb 1910 until Sep 1914.
