This postcard was published by Walter Behrens of Braunschweig to commemorate the 1937 Day of the Stamp on 10th Jan.

This first example features the special cancel used in CHEMNITZ to commemorate 'The Day of the Stamp' on 10th Jan 1937. The special cancel is inscribed "CHEMNITZ | 2 Tag der Briefmarke" and features the outline of the old town hall. The card was sent to Schwerin, the capital of Mecklenburg.
