THE DAY of the STAMP
This postcard was originally published as P289 to commemorate 'The Day of the Stamp' in 1940. The card underwent some revisions and was re-issued. Some of the variations are shown below.
Unlike P289 which cost 25RPf, the price of P241 was reduced to 20Rpf, the value of the pre-printed stamp was the same, so the donation to Hitler's Culture fund was reduced by 5Rpf to 14Rpf.

'The DAY of the STAMP'
P241
(1941)
The 1941 'Day of the Stamp' postcard was a re-issue of the 1940 P289. Instead of the original 6Rpf Posthorn pre-printed stamp, this version has a 6Rpf Hindenburg Medallion pre-printed stamp. The main differences are as follows:
1. The pre-printed stamp is now a 6Rpf Hindenburg Medallion.
2. There is a new inscription beneath the image whaich reads "WIENER KLAPPERPOST".
3. The title "Reichsbund der Philatelisten e.V" has been re-formatted from 2 lines to 1 line and is now black instead of the original yellow text.
4. The inscription "Tag der Briefmarke 7. Januar 1940" has been replaced with "Tag der Briefmarke 12. Januar 1941".
