Ukraine Stamps
1941
Until the issue of Ukrainian stamps on 14th Nov 1941, all German postage, official stamps and party stamps were postally valid. They were also valid after the issue of its own stamps, although the civil post offices and official post offices of the German Official Post only sold stamps with the Ukraine overprint.

Issued on 4th Nov 1941 (1943 for Michel 19 and 20). Regular issue German Adolf Hitler definitive stamps Michel 781 to 798 and Michel 826 and 827 overprinted 'UKRAINE'.
Special Issue of the German Civil Administration
Special Issue of the German Civil Administration prior to the Opening of the Official Post. There was a Ukrainian Post in the remote district of Alexanderstadt, Sarny and Vosnessensk until the establishment of the German Official Post. It was created and supervised by the German Civil Administration. It functioned for several months handling the entire official and civil post and telegraph system. Cancellations were partially made with a pen stroke and partially with available newely created postmarking devices.Michel 1 to 16

Issued on 15th Dec 1941 to Mar 1942. Definitive stamps of the Soviet Union with mostly defective, horizontal, four line handstamped overprint "16.8.41 / swastika / B ALEX / value in soviet currency".
Michel 1 to 6
"Sarny District"
Issued on 1st Oct to 4th Dec 1941. Ukrainian civil post service was active under the control of the German civil administration. Control tags were glued to postal items to indicate with certainity that correct cash postage payments had been paid. After the German Official Post took over the postal service on 5th Dec 1941 these control tags were no longer valid for use.
Definitive stamps, control tags, black typesetting on coloured paper, shiny on front side. Michel 3 text on back crossed out in black and watermark wavy lines. Sheet of 25 stamps. Type A - perf and Type B - imperf.
