(für Kriegs-beschädigte)
Issued: 1st May 1919. The Germania series of definitive stamps features actress Anna Führing (1866-1929) in the role of Germania. The design was the work of engraver Paul Eduard Waldraff who depicts Germania wearing an octagonal imperial crown and carrying a sword and olive branch. These stamps have a rhombus/diamond watermark and are perforate 14:14¼. This stamp has a black 'für Kriegs-beschädigte' overprint.
