1905

Kamerun (Cameroon) was a German colony on the west coast of Africa occupying a coastal strip between the English colony in Nigeria and the Spanish colony of Guinea (Rio Muni). The colony reached as far inland as Lake Chad in the Northeast down to The Congo in the Southeast. The territory was ceeded to Spanish Rio Muni in 1916.

Post Offices in German controlled Kamerun were established in many towns and cities, here are some postmarks to look out for: AKOATIM, AKONOLINGA, BAMENDA, BANJO, BARE, BIBUNDI, BIPINIHOF, BONABERI, BUEA, CAMPO, DSCHANG, DUALA, DUME, EBOLWOA or EBOLOWA, EDEA, EKODODO, FONTEMDORF, GARUA, JABASSI, JAUNDE, JOHANN ALBRECHTSHÖHE, JOKO, JUKADUMA, KAMERUN, KAMPO, KRIBI, KUSSERI, LOBETAL, LOLODORF, LONGJI, MOLUNDU, MUNDECK, NGAUNDERE, NJASSI, NOLA, OSSIDINGE, PLANTATION, RIO DEL REY, SANGMELIMA, UKOKO, VIKTORIA.
