Issued 1944 on unwatermarked paper, printed rotary press and perf 11:10½. Airmail stamp Scott C25 with an R.F. Overprint was used exclusively by French naval personnel on airmail correspondance to the US and Canada.
Issued 30th Oct 1944 on unwatermarked paper, printed rotary press and perf 11:10½. Special Delivery stamps when applied to a stamped postal item ensured that the item would be delivered during the daytime or evening rather than have to wait for the next day for delivery.
