THE DAY OF THE STAMP
This first "Tag der Briefmarke" souvenir card was sponsored by the "Reichsbund der Philatelisten e.V" and was issued to commemorate The Day of the Stamp on 12th Jan 1941. These souvenirs all feature the special commemorative stamp Michel 762 as well as one of the 10 special cancellations used in 52 different cities throughout Germany, only on the 12th Jan 1941.
Example (1) below still has the entry ticket attached inscribed "Ohne diesen Abschnitt zum Eintritt ungültig" - "No entry allowed without this section". This souvenir card was cancelled with the special cancel used in HAMBURG.

THE DAY OF THE STAMP
The following design was also used on 'The Day of the Stamp' in 1941. None of the examples below feature the special 'Day of the Stamp' stamp that was issued to commemorate the event, instead they all have 1940 Winterhilswerk issue Michel 751 stamps.
