The following cancel was used only on 15th March 1942 to commemorate Hero's Day 1942. The cancel depicts a sword with inscription 'They died for Greater Germany' and was issued in only three cities: BERLIN, MÜNCHEN and WIEN.

53rd BIRTHDAY of ADOLF HITLER

Issued on 13th April 1942 to celebrate Hitler's 53rd Birthday this stamp was issued on sheets of 50 stamps and was also accompanied by a special postmark, used for one day (20.4.1942) with the inscription "With the Führer to victory". BERLIN, BRAUNAU, MÜNCHEN, NÜRNBERG, STRASSBORG and WIEN used this special postmark.

S.A. MILITARY TRAINING MONTH
(Wehrkampftage der SA)

This special cancel was used to commemorate the military training month of the SA and celebrates the foundation of the S.A. Sports Medal. This medal was a very prestigious award that was handed out to S.A. members who achieved a high standard in several events during S.A. Sports week. The events were held in different towns on different dates and each town had its own special postmark, available only on that day. There were 14 towns/cities that used a variation of this special cancel: BERLIN, BERNBURG, BITTERFELD, GENTHIN, HAMELN, ILMENAU, LINZ (DONAU), MAGDEBURG, MÜNCHEN, QUEDLINBURG, SCHÖNEBECK, STENDAL, WEISSENFELS and WITTENBERG.
