MICHEL 105 and 106 WAR VICTIMS (für Kriegs- beschädigte)
Issued: 1st May 1919. The Germania series of definitive stamps was issued in several batches from 1900 to 1922 and feature actress Anna Führing (1866-1929) in the role of Germania. The design was the work of engraver Paul Eduard Waldraff who depicts Germania wearing an octagonal imperial crown and carrying a sword and olive branch. These stamps have a rhombus/diamond watermark and are perforate 14 x 14¼.

Issued: 1st Jul 1919. These stamps were issued to celebrate the new WEIMAR REPUBLIC and are reflective of the nations desire to grow into a healthy country after the devastation of the Frist World War. No Watermark and perforated 13 x 13 ¾.
Issued: Nov 1919. The design of these stamps features a posthorn and a biplane. They were designed by Mathey and printed at the Government Printing Office. Printed Typography on sheets 5 x 10, with no Watermark and perforate 14 ¾ x 14 ¼.
