On 5th September 1934 six of the Hindenburg Medallion issue stamps were reprinted with black borders as a memorial to Paul von Hindenburg who died on 2nd August 1934. Produced on sheets (10x10) on coated paper with swastika watermark, perf K 14:14¼.
