Issued 1893 and printed on "Dianer duplex" paper. This envelope is the same design as the earlier 1890 issue RU2 only now with a different material. This change in the design of the Ruhrpost card was due to complaints about the earlier RU1 and RU2 envelopes being too transparent. This inside of the envelope consists of a blue opaque fibrous layer.
