This official envelope was issued 1st Jan 1872 and was not for use in Bavaria or Württemburg. The value stamp is a 3 Kreuzer, eagle with small breastplate Michel 9 stamp.
There is only one version of this official envelope and it is a Type 'A', measuring 147 x 84mm.
This envelope is the same as Michel U4 only U4 has a large shield.
